With festivals knocking at the door, there begins the pious month of Ramadan for the muslims and fasting during the month of Ramadan is considered to be amongst the five Pillars of Islam. With this fasting there are numerous things that you need to keep in mind for your health. It is advisable that don’t break your fast with a feast or else you may put on weight in spite of losing it.
One must be very conscious about the food eaten during the Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (meal at dusk). During these times of the hour you must keep in mind that the food you are going to intake must be simple and should contain food from all major groups including fruits & vegetables, breads, cereals & Potatoes, fish, meat and dairy products as well.
